This page provides brief descriptions of each tool and steps on how to use them.

Toggle Legend/Layer List - This tool will display either the legend or the layer list. |
1) Click on the tool. |

Zoom In - This tool is designed to allow the user to zoom in to an area incrementally centered on a clicked point or by defining a box extent. |
1) Click on the tool to activate it. |

Zoom Out - This tool is designed to allow the user to zoom out to an area incrementally centered on a clicked point. |
1) Click on the tool to activate it. |

Zoom to Full Extent - This tool allows a user to display the full extent of the island. |
1) Click on the tool. |

|
Zoom to Active Layer Extent - This tool allows the user to zoom to the extent of a specific layer. |
1) Make
the desired layer active by clicking on the radio button |

Back to Last Extent - This function allows the user to return to the previous extent of the map. |
1) Click on the tool. |

Pan - This function allows the user to move around the map by clicking on the desired location. |
1) Click on the tool. |

Identify All - This tool will allow the display of attributes associated with all visible features. |
1) Make
the desired layer(s) visible by clicking on the checkbox |

Measure - This tool will allow the user to define a line by clicking two or more positions on the map display and receive a total measured length for the line in feet. |
1) Click on the tool. |

Clear Selection - This tool will allow users to clear selected features in the map display. |

Print - This tool will allow users to print the current map display. |

Search Tool Guide
The following provides a brief description of each custom search tool and steps on how to use them.

|
The "Search by TMS" tool allows you to identify parcels by parcel identification number (TMS). |
|
Step 1: Enter TMS number associated with the parcel you wish
to locate. |
|
Step 2: Press the "Search" button to return a table
of located parcels. |
|
Step 3: Press the link to zoom to the associated parcel. |
|
|
|

|
The "Search by Address" tool allows you to identify parcels by a unique address. |
|
Step 1: Enter either street number and
street name that is located within the parcel you wish to locate. |
|
Step 2: Press the "Search" button to return a table
of located parcels. |
|
Step 3: Press the link to zoom to the associated parcel. |
|
|
|
|
|
The "Search by Name" tool allows you to identify parcels using an Owner's Name. |
|
Step 1: Enter name of owner associated with the parcel you
wish to locate. |
|
Step 2: Press the "Search" button to return a table
of located parcels. |
|
Step 3: Press the link to zoom to the associated parcel. |
|
|

**Please Note: Query results are limited to 100 records at one
time. if you wish to view more please choose the
"more records" link located at the bottom of the results table. |
